Spanish Grand Prix Practice Final Session
Felipe Massa leads final Spanish Grand Prix Practice session
Felipe Massa topped the timesheets in final Spanish Grand Prix Practice. Kimi Raikkonen was edged by Massa by the smallest of margins; only 0.006s separated the pair at the end of the session.
Local favorite, Fernando Alonso led throughout most of the session, however ended the session in a modest sixth place. Sebastian Vettel continued to pile the pressure on Alonso with the German finishing the session ahead of Alonso in fifth place.
The session was drama free for most teams apart from McLaren who seemed to have a bizarre situation with Sergio Perez who lost some bodywork from the front of his car on the main straight.
Focus now switches to qualifying which looks to be a very open battle between the top runners. Spanish Grand Prix Practice sessions have set up a titanic battle for pole position with any driver from the top teams likely to be on the front row of the grid. The Force India cars are strong this weekend and could upset the top four teams by squeezing into the top six on the grid.
